Happy 1st Birthday Isabel!

Exactly one year ago, Sandy gave birth to Isabel. It all started at 5:30 AM and we had the joy of holding Isabel by 2pm. Isabel’s labor and delivery were so quick and easy. However, after a few short days, we began to describe her as a “high-maintenance” baby because she constantly craved to be held and rocked by mommy only. This lasted for two full months. Sandy bonded with her quickly while daddy gave full attention to Abigail. We never imagined an entire year would pass so quickly, but it did. There were many seasons of fatigue parenting two little ones but we would never choose any other path than this. Even with the crying, screaming, tantrums, sleepless nights, dirty diapers, constant laundry, our two princesses bring so much joy and laughter to our lives. They are indeed precious gifts from the Lord. We do not take them for granted but thank the Lord for the gift of life.
We thank God for Isabel. She has such a sweet and pleasant spirit. She’s become very easy-going and low-maintenance. She loves to sleep, eat, play with Abigail and is so flexible with our busy schedule and traveling. She quickly bonded with Abigail and we really foresee a special bond between the girls. We constantly pray they will grow to be the best of friends.
Abigail continues to grow and mature quickly. She speaks Korean so well and is picking up English here and there. She has such a joyous spirit and magnetic personality. There’s never a quiet or dull moment with Abigail around. Most of all, she loves Jesus and say always, "Jesus is in my heart" [with a bit of british accent]. Thank you God for the gift of children!
