Jehovah Rapha!
Thank you for pouring out your heart in prayer for us in the last few days. God has been faithful in answering every prayer we have uttered for Keith. As Keith fights against this devastating disease, we continue to trust in Him who heals. I haven’t had much time to be on computer, but Sandy has been posting detailed updates on his progress on Abigail’s Xanga site. Keith is still in critical condition, but according to the doctor, his progress has been “unusual”. Please continue to remember him in your prayer.

Calling out for prayer
Dear family and friends,
This afternoon we received the news from LA that Sandy's brother, Keith had been diagnosed with Stevens-Johnson Syndrome. It is a very rare case of allergic reaction that causes skin to deteriorate. We were informed that mortality rate could be as high as 80% depending on the degree of the skin loss. As of now, we have learned that Keith has lost all of his skin, and is in ICU waiting for a surgery. Tomorrow, they are planning to engraft imitation skin over his body so that it will prevent any infection until his natural skin can regenerate.
We believe in the power of prayer. We realize that this is an opportunity for us to see God move through our prayer. Through all the trials we have seen around us, God is gathering His saints to pray so that He can reveal His love and glory to us. We have already been so encouraged by many of you who are fasting and praying for our family. We will be driving down to LA tomorrow. We are at peace knowing that Keith is in good hand. May God receive all glory, honor and praise!
With a very grateful heart,
Ted, Sandy, Abigail and Isabel

If you are weary of spywares, popup ads, sercurity holes that Microsoft has been ignoring for years, it is time to treat yourself with Firefox. Best of all, it is a free software designed by people who believe that best things in this world should be free. Click here to download it.

The One That Didn't Get Away

How do you know if, for someone, fishing has become more than simply catching fish? It is when fish start to appear in their family portrait.
We got to visit our family friend from Seminary [Robert, Wonmin and Elijah] who happened to live in Sacramento. :-) Robert is getting ordained next week, and we wanted to have an early celebration. For me, it was also another blessed opportunity to redeem the memory of the lost fish. Robert and I got up at 4:30AM and headed for Goethe Park [10 minute drive from his house] with a renewed hope of landing another big salmon. We fished from 5:30AM to 9AM and got this baby salmon. Not a big one. But, it's still a fish. We enjoyed the beautiful sunrise. We talked, laughed and got wet. To me, the real keeper was my friend Robert, who is now considering getting into fishing. Here's a picture of the newly added member of our family before it went into our belly.
